Cara Luft’s New Album Darlingford Out June 12th!

It's been 5 years since award-winning singer/songwriter Cara Luft released her critically acclaimed album The Light Fantastic back in 2007.  But she hasn't been sitting idle.  After plenty of hard work and many years spent on the road touring North America and Europe, Cara Luft is back with her 3rd solo album Darlingford.  The album will be released in June but she celebrated a bit early with a hometown Album Launch Party in Winnipeg on Friday, April 13th. And an incredible live performance on CityTV Breakfast Television. Look for Cara Luft out on the road next week with string of tour dates in Western Canada, followed by  a 7 week European release tour. Buckman Coe Cross-Canada Tour

Vancouver singer/songwriter Buckman Coe has been touring across Canada for the past month in support of his latest album "By The Mountain's Feet." The album was released on March 20th through Tonic Records/Fontana North and Fritz Media has secured plenty of Canadian publicity for Buckman Coe so far. WIL To Open Up For Jann Arden In Eastern Canada

Vancouver Island singer/songwriter WIL’s latest album “Heart Of Mine” continues to win the hearts of fans and critics alike, this time landing him the opening slot on the Eastern leg of Jann Arden’s Cross Canada Tour, beginning in Thunder Bay on March 2nd. The announcement of WIL’s extended tour with Jann Arden follows suit with his many recent accomplishments. East Coast Hip Hop Artist Classified has been hand-picked by Vancouver’s multiplatinum selling chart-toppers, Hedley as the opening act for their 30 date cross-Canada tour kicking off in Kelowna, BC on February 10th, 2012. 2012 Starting Off With a Bang!

Happy New Year and welcome to 2012! Things are starting off with a bang over here at the Fritz Media office and we wouldn't have it any other way! We're excited to be working with some incredible artists this year, including Cara Luft, Buckman Coe and Pouty Marlo (aka Chantel Upshaw), just to name a few. We can't wait to tell you more about them! We're also pleased to be working on a few projects this year with the historic The Vogue Theatre in downtown Vancouver, starting with The Be Good Tanyas show on Saturday, February 11th. Vicious Cycles Cuban Tour Kick Off Show

East Vancouver punks, The Vicious Cycles, will be heading to Cuba this January as part of the Solidarity Rock tour project and to kick things off they’re throwing a Cuban Tour Kick Off show TONIGHT at The Media Club. The show will also include some trashy boogie blues from Rich Hope and His Evil Doers, fellow Solidarity Rock supporters AK-747s and a showing of select photographs by Solidarity Rock collaborators. SchMusic BC Christmas Party – December 7th!

Ever since we realized that Christmas is only 2 1/2 weeks away, we've really been getting into the holiday spirit over here at the Fritz Media offices. Aside from drinking a lot of eggnog lattes, we're not too proud to say that we've pretty much been spinning the Christmas discs from the Biebs and the Buble non-stop! Lucky for us, just as our Christmas Spirit kicked in we get to attend our first Christmas Party of the 2011 Holiday Season! The SchMusic BC Christmas Party is happening tomorrow night (Wednesday, December 7) at the Electric Owl. Arrive at 8PM to mingle with your local industry and the first folks through the door will get free beers courtesy of Steamwhistle! Then at 9:30PM be entertained by the wonderful music of: Sidney York, Maurice and David Vertesi. The whole event will be free to members, and $10 for non-members. SHORE 104.3 FM Presents Music Saves III

SHORE 104.3 FM recently announced the launch of the Music Saves III video, the third installment in the Music Saves series, in support of the Vancouver Adapted Music Society (VAMS) and the continued efforts of The Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund. For it's third edition, Music Saves chose to have the musicians perform the classic Canadian track "Oh What A Feeling" by Crowbar. WIL’s Fourth Album Is Set For Release On October 25th!
